“We are gathered here, at the walls of the Main temple of the Russian Armed Forces so with deep reverence to remember the heroes of the past, to honour immortal feat of our people and all the martial valor of the defenders of the Fatherland from Ancient Russia to the present day, to bow their heads in memory of those who gave their lives for the freedom of his native land. The Cathedral was erected on the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the great Patriotic war and is dedicated to the heroic deeds of the defenders of the Motherland — all battles for freedom and independence of the country”, — stated in the message.
