The american singer of RnB R. Kelly, already accused of multiple sexual assaults, was arrested Thursday on charges of child pornography and corruption of a minor, said the New York Times .

The singer and producer of RnB and soul, Robert Kelly, his real name, has been arrested by the federal police in Chicago on Thursday evening, according to the newspaper. Thirteen charges were retained by the federal prosecutors against the singer, including, in particular, charges of corruption of a minor and obstructing justice, according to the New York Times .
The singer, aged 52 years, is the subject of charges of repeated sexual assault and the misappropriation of a minor for more than two decades, but has maintained a fan base strong and continued to occur in concert. He had been acquitted a dozen years ago in a trial involving child pornography.
Before being arrested again on Thursday, Kelly was released on bail in a case in Chicago, where he must answer eleven counts, including five of sexual assault with aggravating circumstances. Each of them is liable to a penalty of between six and 30 years in prison.
In an interview in march, Kelly has vehemently denied the accusations to which he is subject, stating that he “fought” for his life. “I have not done this kind of thing. This is not me,” said Kelly to CBS News.
