In his new position Aleksandr Vyalkov will be responsible for the implementation of the strategy of retail business development of VTB in St.-Petersburg and Leningrad region and strengthening the Bank’s position in the regional market.
According to the results of five months 2020 retail loan portfolio of VTB in St.-Petersburg and Leningrad region grew by 5% and exceeded 265.5 billion rubles. The portfolio of attracted funds amounted to 556 billion rubles (+9%).
“St. Petersburg and Leningrad oblast is a strategically important region for the retail business of VTB, it is traditionally among the leaders of our regional network. Aleksandr Vyalkov was born in 1964 in the Primorsky Krai, in 1987 he graduated from far Eastern national University, specialty — historian and economist. From 1994 to 2000, he worked in the Primorsky branch of Sberbank of Russia, then in the far Eastern branch of Alfa-Bank. Since 2006, Aleksandr Vyalkov works in group VTB to 2018 years in charge of retail business of the Bank in Vladivostok, and then led the United VTB in Primorsky Krai. Married and has a son.
