Roscosmos announced a new speed record to ISS

Transport cargo ship “Progress MS-15” has set a new record for the fastest flight to the International space station (ISS). This is stated on the page of Roscosmos in Facebook. After 3 hours 18 minutes 31 seconds after liftoff, the cargo ship “Progress MS-15” normally docked to the docking compartment Pirs of the ISS Russian segment, thereby putting a new record on-time flight to the ISS, said in Roskosmos. The previous record was set on a cargo ship “Progress MS-14” in April 2020. Then the duration of his flight to the station was 3 hours and 20 minutes. On Board the ship is 2.6 tons of cargo, including more than 600 kg of propellant for refueling and 420 kg of water and also oxygen cylinders and other supplies necessary for the continued operation of the station in manned mode. Now on Board the ISS Russian cosmonauts Anatoly Ivanishin and Ivan Wagner and American astronauts Chris Cassidy, Douglas Hurley and Robert Behnken.
