Russia and China vetoed a draft resolution of the UN Security Council on Syria. The document was introduced by Germany and Belgium.

the project involves the extension of the mechanism for the delivery of humanitarian assistance to almost 3 million Syrians directly across the border with Turkey. According to the document, the humanitarian aid arrives in Syria through two checkpoints — “Oncupinar” and “Pilvelyte” on the Turkish-Syrian border, says Anadolu. UN officials are actively using one of the CPT and act for the extension of the existing mechanism for another year.

Recall that the validity of UN security Council resolution, which in Syria with the 2014 humanitarian supplies arrive, expires July 10.
