In the program “60 minutes” on the Federal channel “Russia 1” Popov said that Russia is ready to “return” of the Eastern territories of Ukraine.
“We are ready, unfortunately, for me, for many citizens of Russia, to go to the Donbass, returned to the bosom of Ukraine”, — said Popov.
Kazan said in his Telegram channel that such statements can talk about the change of strategy of the Kremlin in the Donbas and readiness for some concessions.
In his opinion, this “ended the tale that the people of Donbass decide their own fate.”
