Press Secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov has voted for amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation. He said that he had used the electronic voting system.
According to Peskov, reports RIA “Novosti”, the system works “just and convenient”. He said that was on the website mos.ru. “I had it sent a request and tried to vote last night — of course, didn’t work, because there was no vote,” he said. And added that voted today in the car while driving to work.
On the question, whether in the Kremlin over how early voting will take place, what the violations are recorded, Peskov noted that early voting goes until at least three hours, so talk about it before.
Recall that a nationwide vote on amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation was scheduled for 22 April, but then postponed due to the difficult epidemiological situation in the country. Later, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that the vote will take place on 1 July. It was decided that the actual citizens may vote within seven days from 25 June to 1 July.
Nizhny Novgorod oblast along with Moscow were the two pilot regions, whose residents may vote remotely.
