Scientists: Cheese reduces the risk of stroke

Regular consumption of cheese may reduce the risk of stroke and heart disease. To such conclusion the Chinese researchers from Soochow University, reports FaceNews.

Experts have studied the data of 15 studies that were carried out by American and European scientists as they tested the health of a total of 200 thousand adults over several years.

the Analysis showed that people who daily eat at least 40 grams of cheese, have a 14% lower risk of coronary heart disease and 10% lower risk of stroke compared to those who don’t eat cheese. This is probably due to the fact that cheese is unlike many foods high in saturated fat, is not conducive to a large production of cholesterol, doctors stress.
