Scientists: the slower a person walks, the faster it dies

People with low movement speed die faster than their fast-moving peers. This is the conclusion reached by experts after extensive research, writes Cursorinfo.

Experts have studied the data of nearly 50 years of testing of 904 participants who were born in the same year in Dunedin, New Zealand. Throughout their lives they were tested, interviewed and conducted the measurements.

it turned Out that the speed of movement even at a young age was a sign of problems in old age. Subjects on average moved at a slower speed, had “accelerated aging” on a scale with 19 factors. However, their lungs, teeth and the immune system also showed a corresponding relationship.
