St. Petersburg held a creative photo shoot about the impact of trash on the planet (photo, video)

Ecoactivists from St. Petersburg Jeanne Paramchuk together with friends launched the art project “Plastic” about the impact of trash on the planet and its inhabitants. The girl shared photos in social networks.

the footage captured citizens surrounded by cans, packs of cigarettes, rubber tyres, bottles, packets and other wastes. Model like dying from contamination.

“every year people throw away 2 billion tons of garbage. One person throws away 300 kg of garbage a year. In Russia landfills and dumps occupy 4 million ha and only 3% of waste is recycled. Incinerators and landfills pollute the air and water that threaten the health of people. From the plastic in the ocean and on land die every year millions of animals. Give up disposable plastic. Don’t buy and don’t throw away unnecessary things. Hand over waste to recycling”, said the activists.

Users in social networks like the creative idea. Someone shared their experience of pollution control. So, she wrote about cleaning up debris while relaxing on the lake.

Add a photo shoot in St. Petersburg was conducted in the framework of the volunteer project about animal rights and ecology “Zero waste and dogs”. Administers community social lady Jeanne Paramchuk.

“Rosbalt” presents the project “trash — be honest!”, reminding that the problem of proper disposal of waste concerns all of us, and everyone can contribute to its solution. And what kind of answers we find today will impact our quality of life tomorrow.
