In Yerevan and Baku are waiting to create conditions for the resumption of negotiations on Karabakh. This was stated by Minister of foreign Affairs of Armenia Zohrab Mnatsakanyan. According to him, the negotiation process was affected by the pandemic coronavirus.
“To resume substantive work we need to wait until the necessary conditions are to hold the meeting and continue the regular work”, — quotes the words of Sputnik Mnatsakanyan Armenia.
However, in terms of coronavirus, the parties were able to hold one video conference with the participation of the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk group. Most importantly, according to Mnatsakanyan, to avoid actions that could lead to the escalation of the conflict.
However, setting the negotiation process cannot be called normal: the earlier the Armenian foreign Ministry said that representatives of the Azerbaijani leadership “compete” with each other in anti-Armenian statements, supposedly “reminiscent of a tantrum”.
