The old comrade in arms of Sitting Bull has just killed an army captain. On the run, he takes refuge in a nearby farm, after having slain the dog, killed a reverend of way killed the owner of the farm and raped her daughter. He sits down at the table and warms up by eating the dish that the young girl was cooking.

The reverend, before dying, gives him the sentence desperate, “my child! I beg you”. Drunk anger the Sioux don’t listen to it, and the sculls before him to make holes in the chest from a blow of a blunderbuss. Only, he speaks tirelessly these last words, from the beginning of his flight, “I’m not your child…”. Sitting Bull had the status of a healthy man among the Sioux. It was in him that believed in our man, not the figure of the reverend.

The man with no name, orphaned of father natural as well as spiritual since the death of Sitting Bull was returned to his solitude. He seems condemned to wander with the sole traveling companion, his thirst for revenge.

The composition of the square is rich in symbols. In the background, above the Indian, a wolf’s head is drawn instead of a beam. The Wolf at the grinning predator, sits at the top of the man, such an evil spirit. It seems to accompany him on the lonely road of the hunter relentless… Always in the background, a rope is highlighted. The symbol of both the hanging, or the enslavement, it represents the only options remaining to the warrior.

The assassin, leaning on the table, eyes closed, face drawn, his journey murderer is only just beginning but it already seems tired and resigned. It is, in part, absorbed by the shadows, consumed by hatred it can no longer reach the light. He is definitely alone, away from the heat of his tribe. Its recent massacres of civilians, deprived of the excuse of a warrior. It is no more than animal. A box sharp, who illustrates the incredible quality of the scenography and of the line of Fred Druart. A title that will delight both fans of Westerns, fans of thriller.
