According to the materials of the case, in 2017, the photographer was taking pictures of Zara on the order of Cosmopolitan magazine. In January 2018, the magazine published one of the photos on the title page. Subsequently, the photographer found a photo on the official website and Youtube channel of Zara, on its advertising Billboard, in the social network Instagram, as well as in music video of Zara “Monday”. In this regard, he filed a claim for copyright infringement.
Dionis wished to receive compensation in the amount of 1619500 rubles and compensation for moral damages in the amount of 100,000 rubles. The court recognized Zarif mgoyan-offending, but reduced the compensation of 100 thousand rubles for copyright infringement and 50 thousand as compensation of moral damage.
