The EU condemned the detention of oppositionists in Belarus

the Head of European diplomacy said that the upcoming elections of the President of Belarus should pass freely and safely, with observance of responsibilities within the Organization for security and cooperation in Europe (OSCE).

Earlier in Belarus was detained contender for the presidency Viktor Babariko. He is suspected of organizing the illegal activities of Belgazprombank. The head of the state control Committee of Belarus Ivan Tertel said that the illegal activities of Babariko is Gazprom.
