As noted by the expert, it is crucial to start sustainable waste management. This requires investment in processing industry and legislative changes that encourage the reduction of waste generated.
“today, it is extremely dangerous to choose incineration as a solution, as it does not contribute to resource saving and such enterprises themselves are sources of environmental pollution”, — said Shalunov.

“it is Necessary to regulate water pollution. So, it is important to subsidize the equipment of treatment facilities at the enterprises with new equipment. Also do not forget about regulating the use of groundwater and surface water as sources of water supply”, — said the ecologist.
In her opinion, this question is becoming increasingly important, as due to changes in climate, water quality may decrease, especially in the South of the country.
