A setting sun on a field of battle, a soldier carrying one of his comrades, wounded, in the midst of bombs crashing on the ground. The trailer of The King’s Man: First mission was released yesterday and from the first images, something seems to have changed. The atmosphere is heavy, dark. Between a charge out of the trenches and a sword fight, all supported by the noise staccato of violins, the atmosphere contrasts totally with the mind crazy and overexcited of the first two films in the series. The main plot of the film will focus on the origin of the agency, Kingsman, and the man who created it, in full first world war.

A new duet for a new film

Prequel requires, farewell (for the moment) Colin Firth and Taron Egerton ( Rocketman ). Instead, a new duo led by Ralph Fiennes ( 007 Spectrum ), in the role of a mentor, and Harris Dickinsonn (Darkest Minds: Rebellion ), in that of the student. The first duo of the agency Kingsman, will have to confront the mysterious Grigori Rasputin (Rhys Ifans), who seems to be the great enemy of the film.

On the other hand, side realization, Matthew Vaughn remains at the helm of this new album. The action scenes are impressive, the characters remain, of course, elegant and charismatic, and places iconic of the last two films, are also present. A cocktail that has something to reassure the fans on this prequel, which will be released on February 12, 2020.
