In fact, The Swallows of Kabul , by Zabou Breitman and Éléa Gobbé-Mévellec, and Papicha , of Mounia Meddour, have been crowned, by, respectively, two and three prices. Both had been presented in may at Cannes in the un certain regard category, but had returned empty-handed.
