the Lawyer of the actor Mikhail Yefremov Elman Pashayev told why his client refused the plea in a deadly accident in Central Moscow.
According to him, “Yefremov has the right to plead guilty and to abandon it a thousand times a day.” “It is a procedural law”, — explained the lawyer on air of TV channel “Russia 1”.
Pashayev also said that the first collected evidence of the innocence of the actor, and then announced it.
meanwhile, today the Presnensky court of Moscow will consider the extension of house arrest of Ephraim. As reported TASS, during the preliminary hearing, the Prosecutor requested to extend the term of house arrest of Ephraim. Protection of the defendant asked the court to allow Ephraim walks of two hours duration per day.
Pasha had reported earlier that Yefremov refused to admit guilt in a fatal accident, but is willing to pay damages because of an accident involving his car.
