According to media reports, the facility went on maintenance and had to return to the operation at the end of may, but the work is not resumed, presumably due to the fact that Turkey lacks gas volumes from the “Turkish stream” because it makes no sense to use two pipeline.

Recall that commercial deliveries of Russian natural gas through Blue stream to Turkey started in February 2003. However, at the end of March Russian gas deliveries to Turkey fell by 14 times compared to 2018 and 7 times compared to the same period last year with 1,418 billion to 210 million cubic meters, reported the Agency “Interfax” with reference to data of the Federal customs service of Russia.
