The Ministry of culture has lifted a ban on the cinema

Cinemas in Russia will be able to resume work on July 13 if such decision will be accepted by heads of regions. This was reported on the website of the Ministry of culture of the Russian Federation.

“One of the conditions for the resumption of activities will need to comply with Rospotrebnadzor sanitary-epidemiological requirements and recommendations for conducting preventive measures to prevent the spread of novel coronavirus infection in theaters,” reads the text of the order “On the recommendations of organizations engaged in public demonstration of films (cinema)”.

Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko said that the theater in Russia will open on July 15.

In connection with the coronavirus in the Russian Federation imposed a number of restrictions on the work of many companies and institutions, the ban on mass events. To avoid a large number of diseases simultaneously and to reduce the burden on hospitals such decision was made. In March, the work of the cinema has been suspended. Similar restrictions were imposed on museums, theatres, Philharmonic societies, circuses and other organizations.

Meanwhile, the Rospotrebnadzor in cooperation with the Ministry of culture of the Russian Federation developed recommendations on the work of cinema in the context of epidemic coronavirus. The decision of reopening the cinemas, according to the rules, accept the regional authorities in accordance with the requirements of the main state sanitary doctors. Spectators are encouraged to wear masks for employees this is mandatory, as well as wearing gloves. Employees must have a disposable mask, gloves and a supply of disinfectant wipes and antiseptics for the hands. During sessions in the hall should be provided with social distance with Seating spectators. The exception is when the movie comes family.
