The Ministry of health proposed to change the rules of medical examination for drivers

the Ministry of health of Russia has prepared the project of changes in rules of medical examination for drivers. It is published on the Federal portal of projects of normative legal acts.

“to Amend the procedure for conducting compulsory medical examination of drivers of vehicles (candidates for the drivers of vehicles) approved by the order of Ministry of health of the Russian Federation from June 15, 2015 No. 344н”, — stated in the document.

Earlier, the Russian health Ministry was planning to amend the procedure for compulsory medical examination of drivers and candidates for drivers, increasing the scope of the study. Then there was a proposal to make a mandatory medical certification of drivers of vehicles and those who want to get right, tests for the presence of psychoactive substances in the body and addiction to alcohol. According to the rules for help, motorists will pass the chemical-Toxicological examination of urine and blood tests to identify chronic alcohol abuse.

After the MoH has postponed the entry into force of the order. This was stated by Deputy Minister of health of Russia Oleg Salagay.
