Amendments to the Civil code of the Russian Federation, stipulating that the income of the country’s funds and property by lack of proof of their legal origin, affect only civil servants. About this “Interfax” said the press service of the Ministry of justice. It specified that the draft law envisages the establishment of a mechanism to pay the state income the funds from the personal accounts of the officials, obliged to represent data on incomes and property, and also data on incomes of the spouse (spouse) and minor children, if the amount of such cash exceeds the total income of these persons during the reporting period and the preceding two years, and they are not presented reliable information confirming the legality of receiving them. The Department indicated that these include Federal and regional civil servants, and the people occupying municipal posts, working on state and municipal service and other persons obligated to submit such information. The justice Ministry added that violators will be identified in the verification of the accuracy and completeness of information about incomes, property and obligations of property character. We will remind, earlier the newspaper “Izvestia” with reference to the Ministry of Finance announced that the Civil and Budget codes of the Russian Federation amendments, according to which the monetary funds of citizens and their property, the legality of which it is impossible to prove, shall be confiscated and transferred to the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation.
