The Moscow city court counted successive pickets a single action that requires the consent of the authorities. According to “Rain”, it follows from the decision of the court on the complaint of the journalist Ilya Azar, which results in “apologia protest.” The document stated that the pickets in support of “police Ombudsman” Vladimir Vorontsov, during which detained the hazard, were United by a single goal. The court considers that this is evidenced by the publication in social networks with an appeal to come out with the pickets. Meanwhile, according to human rights activists, this is contrary to the decision of the Plenum of the Supreme court of Russia. According to them, successive pickets are not carried out simultaneously, and cannot be a single action. In the court’s decision otmecheno that Ilya Azar was aware of the inconsistency of public events, so his actions are qualified under part 8 of article 20.2 — the second violation of order of carrying out of public events. We will remind, earlier today the Moscow city court reduced the term of arrest of the journalist Ilya Azar from 15 to 10 days. It will be released June 7.
