The Prosecutor General's office reported an increase in corruption in Russia

In Russia there is a growth in the number of corruption crimes. About it as the correspondent “of Rosbalt”, said at a meeting in the Federation Council, the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation Igor Krasnov.

According to him, “detected corruption is growing for the second year in a row.” So, 17% increase in the number of crimes committed by organized groups, 74% related to “kickbacks” in the field of procurement, 11% of bribery.

At the same time, according to Krasnov, the courts were more likely to meet the claims allowed prosecutors to collect in favor of the government corruption property. “In 2019, the courts have granted applications in the amount of 20 billion rubles. Compared to 2018 an increase of almost 70 times,” cited data from the attorney General.
