The state Duma introduces fines for propaganda of drugs on the Internet

The state Duma adopted in the first reading the bill providing administrative responsibility for propaganda and illegal advertising of narcotics in the Internet, the correspondent “of Rosbalt”. Under the bill, the penalty for this offense will make for citizens from 5 thousand to 30 thousand rubles, officials and individual entrepreneurs — from 50 thousand to 100 thousand rubles, and legal entities — from 1 million to 1.5 million roubles or suspension of activities for up to 90 days. If such actions will convict a foreign citizen or the person without citizenship the fine will be from 4 thousand to 30 thousand rubles with administrative exclusion for limits of Russia or without it or administrative arrest for up to 15 days. Also increases the maximum fine for operators, for dereliction of duty to limit or resumption of access to prohibited information to 500 thousand rubles, and in the case of relapse, up to 800 thousand roubles (now 100 thousand rubles).
