The U.S. Congress passed a bill on police reform

the House of representatives approved a bill on police reform prepared by the Democrats.

In support of the bill voted 236 congressmen voted against it 181. As noted, mostly for police reform voted Democrats, but the document received a few Republican votes.

Now the law will be submitted for approval to the Senate, and if it approves the Republican majority, it will be submitted for signature to the President of the United States Donald Trump.

the Bill was prepared on the background of mass protests against racism and police violence that engulfed the USA after the death on may 25 in Minneapolis African American George Floyd.
