The United Nations (UN) concerned about a possible US decision to impose sanctions against members of the International criminal court (ICC). This was stated by the official representative of the UN Secretary General Stefan Dujarric.
“We note with concern the messages about the order allowing the imposition of sanctions against members of the International criminal court,” said Dujarric, it is quoted by TASS.
He added that the concern shown also by UN Secretary-General antónio Guterres.
Recall, against officials involved in the investigation, which Washington deems illegal, the state Department and the Ministry of Finance can now impose sanctions, it follows from the decree, which was signed by the President of the United States Donald trump.
