As reported on the website of the legislator Adam Kinzinger, the new document changed private strict measures against construction companies. In particular, it is proposed not to impose sanctions against companies that engage in inspection, testing and certification of the pipeline.
Thus, the final act, additional sanctions may be softer than planned.
Earlier in the Senate called the project “Gazprom” “threat to US national security”. In turn, the German authorities have prepared a response.
