The US Ambassador accused Russia of

U.S. Ambassador to the Organization for security and cooperation in Europe (OSCE) James Gilmore spoke sharply on the question of Georgia’s territorial integrity.

At the meeting of the Permanent Council of the organization, the diplomat questioned the legal status of such entities, Abkhazia and South Ossetia.

According to him, a separate territorial unit was created with the help of Russia, but in fact are Georgian territory, reports “Georgia online”.

Gilmore also accused Moscow of trying to “capture” parts of Georgia in 2008 and called for an end to attempts to “bordersize of” lines of administrative boundaries, including the construction of fencing.

He also stressed that “false accusations of Moscow” about the Georgian research centre Lugar do not merit discussion in the Council.

Earlier official representative of Russian foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova said that the Lugar lab “is working on creation and modification of various pathogens of dangerous diseases, including for military purposes”. Georgia called this version “disinformation campaign of Russia against the West.”
