The alert mainly concerns Limousin, Auvergne and Poitou-Charentes, and specifically the departments of Haute-Vienne, Creuse, Corrèze, Cantal, Charente, Dordogne, Lot, Gironde, Loire, Haute-Loire, Lot-et- Garonne, Puy-de-Dôme and Vienne.

Météo-France announces very hot weather for Sunday in the southern half, easily exceeding 30 degrees, and predicts that this heavy atmosphere will trigger thunderstorms in the afternoon, from Aquitaine to Franche-Comté, including “the “activity can be temporarily strong, accompanied by a risk of hail and violent gusts”.

A second series of storms is expected at the end of the day and will concern Aquitaine, Limousin, Poitou-Charentes, as far as Pays-de-la-Loire and the Centre.
