Trump decided not to draw the military to quell the unrest in the United States

President of the United States Donald trump changed his mind about bringing in the army to quell riots in different cities of the country.

In an interview with Newsmax TV, trump said that the decision “depends on the situation”, and added: “I don’t think we’ll have to do it.”

Previously, trump has stated that he can draw the military to maintain order in the regions affected by the protests. These statements sparked criticism from the Pentagon, politicians and state governors.

Recall the protests and riots in the U.S. began after the death in Minneapolis of the African-American George Floyd at the hands of police during detention.
