Two planes collided in the USA over lake Coeur d’alene in Idaho, two people were killed and six were reported missing, according to CNN.
As stated by Lieutenant County police Kootenai Ryan Higgins, the message about the collision of two aircraft arrived in the afternoon on Sunday. Two dead bodies had to be removed from the water before the aircraft sank. He noted that the other six passengers are still unaccounted for, among the victims there are children.
Investigators have not yet determined the cause of the collision, Higgins explained.
As stated to the TV channel the representative of the Federal aviation administration’s Ian Gregor, one of the aircraft in crash – Cessna 206. The model of the second aircraft is unknown.
the Federal office of civil aviation USA (FAA) and the national Council for transport safety are investigating the collision.
