Under American sanctions were 33 companies and government organizations of China. As follows from messages posted on the website of the Ministry of Commerce, restrictions imposed for the persecution of the Uighurs and work on weapons of mass destruction.
Limitations imposed on the forensic Institute of the Ministry of public security of the PRC, as well as eight Chinese legal entities. Washington believes that they “are complicit in human rights violations, repression, mass illegal detentions, forced labour and high-tech surveillance of Uighurs, ethnic Kazakhs and other members of the Muslim minority in the Xinjiang Uighur Autonomous region”.
On the same charge last year in the US sanctions list included 28 Chinese companies.
