WADA: More than 50 Russian athletes were caught for doping and will be disqualified

World anti-doping Agency has identified positive doping tests from more than 50 Russian athletes. This was stated by the President of the WADA Witold Bathhouse.

He explained that the Agency gained access to data from the Moscow laboratory, owing to restoration of rights of the Russian anti-doping Agency (RUSADA) in September 2018.

“Re-analysis of samples is ongoing, but we already have samples of more than 50 Russian athletes at whom they found banned substance. Accordingly, we expect their disqualification,” said the Bathhouse, reports the Polish press Agency.

Just WADA tested samples 298 Russian athletes and transmits the received data of the anti-doping organizations.
