Widow of Sergei Khrushchev, Valentina Golenko has denied media reports that he died from a gunshot wound to the head. As stated Golenko RIA “Novosti”, it’s “all the gossip”. In her words, Khrushchev died, “as given in prison — of old age.” The interviewee of the Agency said that Sergei Khrushchev was ill for two years. We will remind, earlier it became known that the son of the former first Secretary of the CPSU Central Committee Nikita Khrushchev, Sergei, died 18 June in the U.S., where he lived and worked since 1991.
