YouTube blocked the propaganda video with the gay couple adopting a child

YouTube has blocked the promotional video of the amendments to the Constitution of Russia, in which a homosexual couple adopts a boy from the orphanage. The video ends with a question: “a Russian will you choose?”. According to “Novaya Gazeta”, the representatives of YouTube said that the decision was taken for “violation of YouTube rules against discriminatory statements.” Recall that a video caused widespread criticism on social networks for the homophobia, and the LGBT group “Incentive” asked the Investigative Committee and the Prosecutor’s office to check videos on the subject of excitation of hatred and enmity to the group of persons on the grounds of belonging to a social group LGBT. As reported, the video is promoting an amendment to article 72, according to which the concept of marriage proposed to consolidate as a Union between a man and a woman. We also add that the vote on the amendments to the Constitution will be held on 1 July, the day declared output. It is noteworthy that Alexander Filimonenko — the actor who played “gay mom”, admitted that they would vote against the amendments.
