the Federal Grand jury of the United States issued a new indictment against Julian Assange, reports the U.S. justice Department.
In the indictment, it is assumed the link and Assange conspired with hackers belonging to the group Anonymous. In the message of Department it is specified that the conclusion contains new criminal episodes in addition to the 18 counts on which Assange was accused in may of 2019, but “expands the scope of collusion” in relation to alleged computer break-ins that led to one of the largest theft of classified information in U.S. history.
now Julian Assange is under arrest in Britain. Hearing on the question of his extradition at the request of the United States is scheduled for September 7. In the case of the extradition of Assange faces a prison sentence of up to 175 years.
