Barbara Karaulova was forbidden to leave the house at night until 2029

Kuntsevo district court of Moscow found the administrative supervision of Barbara Karaulova until 2029. As reported by “the Media”, said the lawyer Sergei adamsin. According to “echo of Moscow” the girl is forbidden to leave the house from 23:00 to 6am, if it is not work-related. Meanwhile, the interior Ministry asked for supervised visitation until April 27, 2029. Karaulova wanted to forbid to leave the house from 22:00 to 6:00 if it’s not work related, and, in addition, be required to report to the police twice a month. Recall that in 2015 the former MSU student Karaulov, later changed his name to Alexander Ivanov, detained on the Turkish-Syrian border. The girl confessed that she went “to Syria to the beloved man.” Upon returning home, she, according to investigators, continued communication with the alleged recruiter of the “Islamic state” (a terrorist organization banned in Russia — approx. ed.). Karaulova was charged with preparing to participate in the activities of a terrorist organisation. The girl was sentenced to 4.5 years in a penal colony. In April of 2019 she was released from prison on parole.
