Belarussian President Alexander Lukashenko said that his country “is and always will be near and dear” for residents of Russia.
“And always will remain such, even if we do not want”, — he said at a meeting with Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin, BelTA reports.
Lukashenko expressed confidence that the people “will understand how to live”, regardless of the actions of the government.
