Russian President Vladimir Putin proposed in July to pay another 10 thousand rubles for each child under the age of 16 years. He stated in a televised address to the nation. According to Putin, the payment will affect 28 million children.
He also stressed that families who received 10 thousand per child in June, in July the fee will receive “automatic”. That is, they will not need to submit a repeated application for the money.
