Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed to create a National database of genetic information.
As reported on the Kremlin website, the project will involve research centre “Kurchatov Institute”. Its mission is to create informational-analytical system for the storage and processing of genetic data. From 2021 on, the database will allocate funds from the Federal budget.
in Addition, the President instructed the government to develop courses on genetics for educational organizations of additional education of children.
