Scientists: Spices reduce inflammation

Adding in food spices can be good for health. According to scientists quoted by the journal of Nutrition.

the Experts conducted a study which asked volunteers to eat the food with spices and without. In the experiment involved 12 men, aged 40 to 65 years suffered from overweight, and also had one of the factors of cardiovascular diseases. The volunteers had to take food with high fat and carbohydrates six grams of spice. The researchers used a mixture that included Basil, Bay leaf, black pepper, cinnamon, coriander, cumin, ginger, oregano, parsley, red pepper, rosemary, thyme, and turmeric.

According to the results of the experiment revealed that participants had lower marker of inflammation in the body when eating dishes with spices compared with the values collected when they were eating food without spices.
