Russian bailiffs have begun the process of forced collection of fines for 4 million roubles from the companies Facebook and Twitter. It is reported by RIA “Novosti” with reference to the FSSP.

earlier, Facebook and Twitter have been fined 4 million rubles each for refusing to move to Russia servers with personal data of Russian users.

the Law on the localization of personal data entered into force on 1 September 2015. Based on it next year in Russia was blocked by the operation LinkedIn. We will add that in June the state Duma was introduced a bill to increase fines for such violations — up to 6 million RUB. for legal entities and up to 18 million — in case of repeated violation.
