Zelensky in case the invitation did not go on parade in Moscow

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky would have refused the invitation to the parade on red square to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Soviet victory in the war. The politician said canadian journalists from The Globe and Mail, noting that it was not invited.

In 2020, Russia will hold a ceremony in Moscow on 24 June, not may 9; the postponement is due to the pandemic COVID-19.

“No, I would not go. I think the official invitation was not,” said Zelensky.

Earlier today, the anniversary of Hitler’s attack on the Soviet Union, the President called to “remember that we not only survived that terrible war, but subsequently received its own state.” According to Zelensky, the world war II one way or another touched every Ukrainian family — killed 10 million people.
