Pereslavl district court sentenced to eight and a half years in a strict regime of ex-head of the faction “United Russia” in Pereslavl ‘ -Zalesskiy the city Duma Vladimir Kornilov for the murder of a supporter of “Fair Russia” Paul Cherednikova, the press service of the Yaroslavl regional court. Recall that the body of the victim found on 14 December 2019 in Troitskaya Sloboda (the area of Pereslavl-Zalessky). As reported, Kornilov during the quarrel with his friend, encountered in the course of joint drinking of alcoholic drinks, Cherednikova beat, and then strangled him. After the murder of Vladimir Kornilov wrote a statement on early resignation of the Deputy, it was granted. Also he was expelled from the party. Killed Paul Cherednikov was a propagandist for the elections to the city Duma of Pereslavl-Zalessky in November of 2018, worked as a taxi driver.
