U.S. Senators plan to introduce a bill that expands sanctions against the pipeline “Nord stream-2”. About it reports Bloomberg.
According to the Agency, the sanctions will be extended to all the activities relating to laying of pipes and insurance. Restrictive measures intended to apply to companies that provide “underwriting services, insurance or reinsurance”, for vessels working on the pipeline. In addition, the sanctions they want to impose on companies that provide “services or goods” for the modernization of the courts.
One of the authors of the bill, Republican Senator Ted Cruz. According to him, the gas pipeline is a danger to the national security of the country and “should not be completed.”
