Media: In the Mari state University are compiling lists of students who have a negative attitude to the vote on Constitution change

The deans of the faculties of the Mari state University has asked heads of student groups to prepare lists of students who sharply negative attitude to the vote on the amendments to the Constitution. About it reports the edition “7×7”, referring to one of the students of the University. Thus the interlocutor of the edition has not informed, whether such students are in any way punished. He suggested that students on this list can refuse to provide vacation and post-graduate fellowships in July and August. In turn, the head of Department on educational work and public relations Pavel Kozlov this information “7×7” is not confirmed. According to him, such a list no one is and he first hears about them. Kozlov added that students complained about compiling that list, you can ask questions to him personally. Meanwhile, on the official website of the University community in “Vkontakte” there was a comment about this information: “to refuse to provide vacation and fellowships is simply impossible, so this assumption is highly questionable. These lists are formed exclusively for conducting further training and monitoring public opinion among the students of the University and not for publication”. They added that “modern” citizen should have “an active civil position and to be socially responsible.” Recall that a nationwide vote on amendments to the Constitution was scheduled for 1 July. This day is declared a public holiday.
