In the “Memorial” believe that the charges against Platoshkin groundless and politically motivated, because to do with his opposition activities. Also “memorial” analyzed the video Platoshkin, which became the reason for his prosecution, and did not find it any signs of preparations for mass riots or calls for violent acts (part 1.1 of article 212 of the criminal code).
Platoshkin is under house arrest on charges of public distribution of fakes on combating coronavirus and in the preparation of the riots.
