The CEC approved the procedure for remote electronic voting on the Constitution

the Central election Commission of Russia approved the procedure for remote electronic voting when conducting a nationwide vote on the law on the amendment of the Constitution. About it reports TASS.

According to the document, to vote in electronic format will be able to citizens, has a confirmed entry on the portal or on the official website of the mayor and government capital. Applications for participation in remote voting can be submitted in the framework of “Mobile voters” from 5 to 21 June.

Remote e-voting will be held from 25 to 30 June. If the participant was not able to vote remotely these days, he’ll be able to vote on voting day, July 1, on his land at the place of residence using a paper ballot.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on postponement of the nationwide vote on the issue of approval of amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation from April 22, for an indefinite date. New date for this event is “determined by a separate decree of the President of the Russian Federation”. On the national ballot submitted one question: “do You approve the amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation?”.
