Russia and China are waiting for insulation to the UN if they continue to block the security Council draft resolution, U.S. arms embargo against Iran. This was stated by the US special envoy on Iran Brian hook.
He stressed that between Moscow and Beijing and the international community growing contradictions, Reuters reports.
“Russia and China was isolated by the IAEA, and will now and in the Security Council if it continues the way of dystopia,” said hook.
Earlier, on June 19, the Agency, the IAEA adopted a resolution on the access to two Iranian nuclear facilities. Russia and China tried to block this decision, but are unable because they do not have a right of veto in the IAEA. However, this right they have in the UN security Council.
